What do locals say about it?
As per locals, an ogress with a tendency to feast in human flesh used to reside in the area. Her inclination towards human flesh consumption prompted people to approach a saint in a bid to assist them in getting rid of her. The legend has it that though saint managed to confine her within the rocks which is evident by the marking of holes around it, the ogress may hurt them if the saint isn’t buried at the foothills of the rock.
Anyways, this sounds like nothing more than a myth and we hope that even if it’s real, the ogress stays at her resting place.
