Amongst few places explored in Balochistan, and several unexplored, there is one place in particular that we would like to bring your attention to and it is ‘Peer Ghaib, Bolan’. Before you ask what Peer Ghaib is? It is a waterfall, similar to an oasis located in Bolan.

Where is it located?
Pir Ghaib waterfalls are situated in Bolan Valley, about 70 KMs from Quetta. Here the water fall cascades through rocky mountains
Whats the story behind Pir Ghaib?
Pir Ghaib was a Religious scholar who would undertake journeys to spread the message of Islam. The legend has it that when he visited the area near Pir Ghaib Waterfalls, the ruler of the area disliked him and dispatched his soldiers to have him killed; However, Pir Ghaib travelled to present day Pir Ghaib where he prayed to his lord and found a stick with which he hit the mountains and that’s how waterfall started. The peer later vanished from there and the place got its name.

Important Fact!
Another interesting fact about Pir Ghaib Waterfalls is that during Winter season, you may find the water to be towards warmer side whereas during Summers, its cold. When visiting Pir Ghaib, its highly recommended to get a fair share of the dates there.

How to reach Pir Ghaib?
You are most likely to visit Pir Ghaib by road and if you are enroute to this place, one of your stops will be Kolpur bypass. The kolpur is notorious for being haunted, with some people having clicked photos of ghosts. If you are overtly adventurous, we would recommend you this place.
You next stop will be mach, yet another beautiful place that remains largely unheard of. The area is semi arid but drone footage offers a stunning view. A bit of travelling will get you to Pir Ghaib in Bolan, its emerald colored water will certainly blow your mind away, with Water cascading through the rocky mountains, surrounded by Palm trees.
