Explore Pakistan with Colin: A 12 Day Adventure

Welcoming our guest at the Airport and quickly move to the hotel for check-in & Night stay. (please consult with our team via email/WhatsApp before booking your international flights) we will assist when and what time you should be arriving and leaving)

On Day 2, we shall have early morning breakfast, and set for Lahore Fort. Lahore fort is a UNESCO world heritage site. We shall be exploring lahore fort for approximately 2 hours.

Following exploring Lahore fort, we shall head to Badshahi masjid (16th Century Mughal Era Masjid) which is adjacent to Lahore fort. 1-2 hours will be spent at Badshahi Masjid. Moreover, we will visit Masjid Wazir Khan which is also a Mughal era Masjid located in the heart of historical Walled City of Lahore. 

Moreover, we will also be visiting Shahi Hamam (Mughal era Bath house) and walk through Old city through narrow alleys. Likewise, visit to Delhi Gate, Gali Surjan Singh and Anarkali bazaar with dinner in the evening and checkin for the rest.

after breakfast, we will visit Old town Lahore for shopping and try local food. Around3:00pm we will leave for Wahga Border to see Flag lowering ceremony between Pakistan and India. after that we will visit local restaurant for a delicious Desi Meal and head to hotel for a night stay.

Time to gear for an epic flight to Skardu from Allama Iqbal International airport in Lahore. 

The Flight time between Lahore – Skardu is 1 hour and 20 mins; however, the views would be epic once we cross Islamabad. We’ll get to witness Kaghan Valley, Lake Saif ul Malook, mighty Nanga Parbat- 9th highest mountain in the world.

(Please note that we could take flight from Islamabad as well depending on the flight availability- The Travel time between Lahore- Islamabad is 5 hours by road and we’ll plan accordingly).

Following our arrival in Skardu, we’ll quickly visit Shangrilla Resort and lake, with night stay in Skardu.

Time to explore Skardu a bit more prior to our adventures in Fairy Meadows. Today we shall drive to a rather unique place. The Cold Desert- perhaps the only place where you can see snow clad mountains, and a desert. 

Fun fact: This places experiences snowfall during winter. We shall further drive to Shigar and visit Shigar fort- built in 17th Century.

In cold desert, there plenty of options for adventure activities. Once the day concludes, we brace for epic ride to the mountains.

Yes, you heard it right. We are all set to leave for fairy meadows but first we travel to raikot bridge. We’ll leave early morning. We will travel to Raikot bridge, and hop onto jeep and embark on thrilling 3 hours jeep ride to Tattu Village. 

The Zig Zag adventure filled road will take you through a journey of a lifetime. After reaching Tattu Village, we will trek for 3 hours to reach fairy meadows viewpoint. The duration shall depend on one’s physical health.

We shall have night stay at Fairy Meadows viewpoint and experience majestic Fairy Meadows.

We will have early morning breakfast and set on journey to Beyal Camp. The journey will be through the Jungle. After a span of 2-3 hours, we shall reach Beyal camp where we will check-in the huts and leave for Nanga Parbat basecamp which is additional 2-3 hours journey. 

Upon reaching beyal camp, one can go to Nanga Parbat basecamp either from German point which is a bit of a hike through a hill, glacier and a water stream and other option is through rocky area .

Either way, both options are worth it.

(It is important to note that one can hire horse from Tattu Village, Fairy meadows and beyal camp which can be used to ride all the way to base camp. The pricing will vary depending on the season when you are travelling

Day 8 is essentially rest day. We won’t do much except for relax and filming. Yes, we would certainly have the option to trek to Nanga Parbat basecamp which is approx. 2 hours journey from the german point. 

The basecamp is beautiful but whether you experience the view or not, depends on the mountain whether It makes you feel lucky.

Time to bid adieu to Fairy Meadows and trek to Tattu Village- Jeep transfer and the epic jeep ride to raikot bridge and head to Hunza. In between reaching hunza, we will have brief stops at important spots. For instance, we will stop at Junction point where World’s 3 highest mountain ranges meet. The Karakoram, the Himalaya and the Hindukush.

As we are about to reach hunza, we shall stop at Rakaposhi viewpoint which is the 27th highest mountain the world- covered in snow completely. The view will certainly leave you mesmerized. Afterwards, under an hour, we shall reach Hunza.

The Raikot – Hunza journey is roughly 4 hours. After this long tiring ride, we shall reach karimabad and visit Café de Hunza and check in the hotel to rest. P.S you will be travelling on Karakoram highway from Raikot which is believed to be the highest paved road in the world.

You will certainly wake up to the majestic view of the valley since it would be dark by the time you had reach hunza yesterday. You’ll experience Ultarsar, Lady Finger, Rakaposhi, Golden peak etc. After breakfast, we will set off to Altit fort- which dates back to 900 years. 

After time -travelling to 900 years and back, we will be all set to travel to Attabad lake- a lake that formed as a result of an earth quake back in 2010. We will further visit Passu, Hussaini bridge and brave hearts will do the adventure filled Zipline.

Breakfast and early morning hike to Eagles’ nest to experience a view of the valley, with mighty Rakaposhi in the background. Once we are done visiting this spot, we shall embark on our journey to Skardu to catch up our flight the next day. 

On the way back, we shall be travelling through the same route as before so you might as well stop at some places.
