9-Day Historical Filmmaker Plan (Lahore → South Punjab & Sindh → Karachi)

9 Days 8 Nights

Tour Details

This filmmaking expedition begins in Lahore, traveling southwards into the heart of Pakistan’s heritage. The first leg covers Harappa, offering the first glimpse of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, before moving on to Multan, city of saints, with its blue-tiled shrines and vibrant bazaars. The journey continues into Bahawalpur, where the grandeur of palaces and the vastness of Derawar Fort provide sweeping cinematic frames.

From there, the route winds through Uch Sharif’s mystical shrines and the bustling streets of Rahim Yar Khan, before crossing into Sindh. The legendary Kot Diji Fort and sunset at Sadh Belo Temple on the Indus make for dramatic visual contrasts. A full day at Moenjodaro, one of the oldest urban settlements in the world, adds archaeological depth, while Ranikot Fort — the “Great Wall of Sindh” — offers epic drone opportunities.

In Lower Sindh, the trip immerses into the timeless beauty of Makli Necropolis, the acoustic perfection of Shah Jahan Mosque, and the tranquil waters of Keenjhar Lake. As the journey nears its finale, golden hour at Chaukhandi Tombs sets the stage for entering Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city.

The last day is dedicated to Karachi’s layered identity: the solemn Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum, the colonial Frere Hall, the bustling Empress Market, and the romantic Mohatta Palace, culminating in night skyline shots that close the film on a powerful note.

This itinerary is not just a trip — it’s a carefully designed visual storytelling arc, capturing Pakistan’s evolution from ancient civilization to modern metropolis.
