This is our very own Sakura season, and travelers from Japan, South Korea, and across the globe fly into Pakistan just to witness this breathtaking natural event.

There’s no better time to explore Northern Pakistan than from mid-March to mid-April, when the landscapes feel alive with fragrance, color, and stillness all at once.

  1. Day 1 Drive towards Northern Pakistan

    Early morning pickup from Lahore and departure towards the northern areas. The journey will be comfortable and well-planned, with short stops and rest breaks along the way. We will travel via the motorway and then continue on the National Highway, passing through major cities and towns before entering the mountainous region. The total travel time to Besham Valley will be approximately 9–10 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions.

    There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and rest areas available throughout the journey, where guests can freshen up, have tea or meals, and use washroom facilities. Regular short breaks will be taken to ensure a relaxed and pleasant travel experience before reaching Besham Valley.

  2. Day 2 Besham to Gilgit

    After breakfast, we will depart from Besham and continue our journey towards Gilgit. This is a long but very scenic travel day, with an estimated travel time of 10–12 hours, depending on road conditions, traffic, and weather. The route follows the Karakoram Highway (KKH), one of the most famous mountain roads in the world, running alongside rivers and through deep valleys.
     

    Along the way, we will pass through Dassu, Pattan, and Chilas, with regular short stops for rest, tea, and meals. Much of the journey runs parallel to the Indus River, offering views of rugged mountains, steep cliffs, and flowing water. As we move deeper into Gilgit-Baltistan, the landscape becomes more remote and striking, with barren mountains and wide valleys.

  3. Day 3 Gilgit to Hunza (Karimabad)

    After breakfast, we will depart from Gilgit and travel towards Hunza Valley (Karimabad). This is a shorter and scenic drive, taking approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. The journey follows the Karakoram Highway, which runs along the Hunza River and offers continuous mountain views.
     

    Shortly after leaving Gilgit, we will pass through Danyor and Gahkuch Road junction area, with beautiful views of the river and surrounding peaks. As we move ahead, we will cross Rakaposhi View Point, one of the most famous stops on this route, where the majestic Rakaposhi Peak (7,788 m) can be seen clearly in good weather. This is an ideal place for photos and a short tea break.

    By afternoon, we will reach Karimabad, the main town of Hunza Valley. Upon arrival, we will check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Visit Baltit Fort, famous Cafe De Hunza and Karimabad Bazaar, with views of Ultar Sar, Ladyfinger Peak, and Rakaposhi in the background. Overnight stay will be in Karimabad.

  4. Day 4 Exploring Hunza Valley

    relaxed morning today, after breakfast the group explores Upper Hunza, including Attabad Lake, Hussaini Suspension Bridge, and the famous Passu Cones, with lunch at Yak Grill.  after day activities we will return to hotel for a dinner and overnight stay

  5. Day 5 Hunza to Skardu via Gilgit and Jaglot

    after breakfast, the group drives 5/6 hours from Hunza valley to Skardu, visiting Shangrila Lake, Kachura lake and the famous Cold Desert. the highest cold desert in the world which also offers exceptional filming locations and seasonal activities such as horse riding and quad biking. Sunglasses and sun protection are recommended due to strong sunlight reflecting off the sand.

  6. Day 6 Chunda and Soq Valley

    Day 06 includes a visit to Chunda on 4/4 jeeps and Soq valley offering cherry blossom and apricot season. Overnight Dinner at a local restaurant is arranged with over night stay in Skardu

  7. Day 7 Drive to Khaplu

    After an early breakfast in Skardu, we will depart for Khaplu, a scenic drive of approximately 3–4 hours along well-maintained roads through the Shyok River Valley. The journey offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks, flowing rivers, and terraced fields, with bursts of cherry blossoms adding color to the landscape during the season. Along the way, we will take short stops at viewpoints to capture the majestic mountains and the serene Shigar and Shyok river valleys. Upon arrival in Khaplu, we will check in to our hotel and spend the afternoon exploring the historic Khaplu Fort, wandering through the charming old streets, and enjoying leisurely walks amid blooming cherry trees. Guests can also experience local cafés and orchards, making the most of the spring blossoms. Overnight stay will be in Khaplu.

  8. Day 8 Back to Skardu and Glamping

    After breakfast in Khaplu, we will travel back to Skardu, enjoying the scenic drive through the valleys and along the Shyok River. Upon arrival, we will head to Katpana Desert for a unique glamping experience. Guests can relax in comfortable tents, enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings, and take in the stunning mountain and desert views

    In the evening, we will have a bonfire, perfect for sharing stories and enjoying the cool night air. As the night falls, guests can experience star gazing under the clear Skardu sky, witnessing the beauty of the Milky Way and countless stars. Overnight stay will be in Katpana Desert glamping site.

  9. Day 9 Take the Most scenic flight

    On the final day of the journey, we will take a morning flight from Skardu to Islamabad, offering one of the most scenic domestic flights in Pakistan. From the air, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the Karakoram and Himalaya ranges, snow-capped peaks, winding rivers, and vast valleys that make northern Pakistan so spectacular

    Note: flights depend on weather conditions. If cancelled, then return to Islamabad is completed by road, taking 12–16 hours with a night stop in Besham. if flight is successful then we drop off members at their desired location.
